Wiegmann Completes Shelbourne in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – Mechanical contractor Wiegmann Associates has completed work on the $35.2 million, 197,000-square-foot, 150-unit Shelbourne At Chesterfield senior living development.
Brahms Construction LLC was the general contractor and the architect was Moseley Architects.
The Shelbourne sits on an 8.2-acre plot adjacent to Chesterfield Mall, within walking distance of Central Park. Wiegmann designed and installed the heating and air conditioning systems to serve the 96 independent living units, 37 assisted living units, 17 memory care units and amenity spaces.
Wiegmann collaborated with the design team to value engineer a cost-effective HVAC system to help bring the project within budget. Wiegmann’s design features a rooftop variable volume system in combination with variable air volume boxes and fan terminal units to provide zone control to different common spaces throughout the facility and to save on energy costs.
