Utah’s Tallest High-Rise Dominates Downtown Salt Lake’s Skyline
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 450-foot tall, 40-floor Astra Tower – a 680,000-square-foot luxury apartment development by Kensington Investment Co. – is headed toward completion in late 2024.
Salt Lake-based general contractor Jacobsen Construction collaborated with architect HKS on the project, which broke ground in 2021.
Astra Tower includes 377 studio, one-bedroom, two and three-bedroom units and more than 40,000 square feet of amenities.
A mezzanine work lounge with conference rooms will be located on level nine. Level 22 will feature an outdoor pool and terrace adjacent to a spa and wellness center with lockers and private treatment rooms. Amenities also include a 4,000-square-foot rooftop terrace offering panoramic views of the Salt Lake City valley and Wasatch Front.
