St. Louis Regional Airport Expanding South Apron

EAST ALTON, ILL. – East Alton-based RCS Construction, Inc. will soon begin expanding the south apron at St. Louis Regional Airport.

The project, according to Airport Director Danny Adams, is estimated at $1.3 million.

A 200 by 280 square foot concrete apron will be built for use by visiting aircraft. The project will require approximately 6,500 square yards of concrete. The airport anticipates that work will begin in the next few weeks, with construction completion expected in late winter or early spring of 2024.
