S. M. Wilson, Wiegmann Building New Francis Howell North High School

November 1, 2023|

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – S, M, Wilson & Co. and Wiegmann Associates are making progress on building the $91 million building program for the new Francis Howell North High School, Henderson Elementary and Francis Howell North’s stadium and field work.

The program is part of Francis Howell’s $244 million bond issue passed in June 2020, the largest school bond issue that has ever been passed by Missouri voters.

S. M. Wilson is serving as the construction manager at risk and Wiegmann is the heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanical contractor on the 410,000-square-foot project that is expected to be completed by Fall of 2024.

Wiegmann is installing HVAC systems to serve the entire new high school, including 100 classrooms, plus science, business and computer labs. The new high school project scope also includes two administration suites, a library and commons and cafeteria areas. A variable-air-volume system utilizing a central plant will serve chilled water to rooftop air handlers and hot water to reheat terminal units.
