S. M. Wilson, Reinhardt Partnering on New Early Childhood Center

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – S. M. Wilson & Co. is serving as construction manager at risk, Reinhardt Construction as general contractor and The Architects Alliance as architect on a $10 million early childhood center that is funded by Kids FIRST.
Kids FIRST is an $85 million, zero-tax-rate-increase that Jefferson City School District voters approved in April 2023. The new early childhood center represents the largest project funded by this referendum.
The center will increase the school district’s capacity from 150 early childhood preschoolers to 350.
The district also plans to renovate and improve its existing early childhood center, which will be known as the Jefferson City Academic Center.
