ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Holland Construction Services, Inc. has teamed with architect Arcturis to build new apartments in the 2100 block of Locust Street in St. Louis’ Downtown West area.
Bids for fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and precast garage construction are now out.
The apartments at 2125-2151 Locust Street and Washington Avenue are part of an overall $200 million mixed-use development proposed by AHM Group, a multi-disciplinary commercial real estate development firm.
When completed, the development is projected to include the new apartments and four additional projects. Some projects are new construction while others will encompass rehabilitation of existing buildings.
According to AHM Group, the additional projects include 25,000 to 30,000 square feet of retail/restaurant/commercial space, 30,000 square feet of office space and 750 to 800 parking spaces.
Greater St. Louis Inc. – which coordinates the Arch to Park Equity Fund – made an investment to help AHM Group acquire the property.
