Contractor Bids Sought for Discovery Partners Institute’s Chicago HQ

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Capital Development Board is accepting bids for contractors vying to build the Discovery Partners Institute’s new headquarters in downtown Chicago.
Contractor bids are due on April 16.
OMA and Jacobs are the project’s designer.
The project site spans one acre in The 78, an innovation district along the Chicago River. The headquarters will tout more than 20,000 square feet of office, classroom, lab and event space for DPI and its education and industry partners.
Groundbreaking is anticipated in Spring 2024.
