Foundation Donates $1.6 Mil Toward New Missouri Baptist Academic Building
CREVE COEUR, Mo. – The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation has awardedm a $1.6 million challenge grant to Missouri Baptist University toward the constructgion of a new academic building and welcome center.
The university is seeking to raise another $2 million for its “Together We Shine” capital campaign over the next 12 months.
The campaign will fund the $10 million design and construction project. Its scope is to build a 20,000-square-foot structure that will house both MBU’s College of Business and Entrepreneurship and its School of Nursing.
This grant follows a recently received grant from the Missouri State Board of Nursing totaling $441,000 for the purchase of high-fidelity simulator and other equipment.
