Construction work is underway on a $400 million, 796-unit luxury apartment community near the University of Washington in Seattle, with a completion goal of Q3 2028.
Quarterra and MacNaughton are the developers with Compass Construction as the general contractor and Encore Architects the designer.
Initial site preparation began in 2025 and major vertical construction is now happening at the four-acre parcel.
Known as University Village, it will also feature more than 25,000 square feet of retail and is one of the largest housing developments in the city.
Other key project partners are Fora as landscape architect, Vida as interior designer, KPFF as civil engineer, CQN as structural engineer and Emerald City Engineers for mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
