Midas Hospitality Builds First Rocky Mountain Hotel Project
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – St. Louis-based Midas Hospitality’s first venture in the Rocky Mountains that entails dual-branded Marriot hotels in Steamboat Springs, Colo. is complete.
The projects are being developed by Serac Capital Partners and WalshDupart.
The newly opened SpringHill Suites by Marriott® and TownePlace Suites by Marriott® feature 180 suites centered by The Crawford Lounge. It is designed to meet the needs of both short-term adventurers and extended-stay guests.
Industry sources estimate the total project cost to be approximately $55 million.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Yampa Valley, this hospitality development offers world-class skiing, outdoor recreation and a vibrant downtown area.
SpringHill Suites includes spacious, stylish suites. TownPlace Suites feature apartment‑style accommodations, in‑suite kitchens and flexible living spaces.
Uniting both is The Crawford Lounge – an expansive, custom-designed onsite bar that serves as a gathering place for both guests and locals. Aptly named after the Crawford family, who founded Steamboat Springs in 1900, The Crawford Lounge features a warm fireplace, billiards and a curated selection of local bites and craft cocktails. The Crawford Lounge offers a relaxed, social atmosphere to unwind after a day on the mountain.
