AGC Releases New Federal Funding Tracker

As Congress and federal agencies debate federal funding to states for construction projects, it can be difficult to track how much federal money is actually reaching each state.
AGC of America has developed a new tool to help members view federal construction funding allocations to all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
AGC is the first major construction association to succinctly capture this comprehensive information for its members.
The tracker compiles funding data from federal programs that support AGC’s four construction divisions plus workforce development and educational programs. Based on information from USASpending.gov, the tool shows how much money has been awarded to each state for specific programs and projects. Those amounts may differ from annual appropriations because the tracker reflects awarded funding not simply amounts approved by Congress or federal agencies.
The tracker defaults to the previous fiscal year to provide the most complete funding allocation data available, but users can also view current fiscal year and calendar year-to-date funding. The live tool will be updated regularly and can be filtered by state, nationwide totals, AGC division, and workforce program support.
AGC encourages industry professionals to use the tracker to better understand how federal investments support construction activity in their states and across the country.
