WASHINGTON, D.C. – The AGC Education & Research Foundation announces the recipients of its 2026–2027 Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Program, awarding $512,500 in renewable scholarship commitments to 139 outstanding students representing 61 colleges and universities across the U.S.

Made possible through the generosity of endowed scholarship funds and donors, these scholarships invest in the next generation of construction professionals.

Selected from more than 300 completed applications, recipients were chosen through a rigorous evaluation process that included a comprehensive application review. Unlike many scholarship programs, the AGC Education & Research Foundation’s selection process extends beyond the written application. Scholarship finalists participate in personal interviews with construction industry professionals, providing applicants the opportunity to discuss their career goals, leadership experiences and passion for the industry. This year, 68 AGC members and industry leaders volunteered their time to conduct interviews, helping ensure recipients are selected through a comprehensive and meaningful evaluation process.

This year’s recipients distinguished themselves through academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and meaningful construction industry experience. More than two-thirds (66 percent) of scholarship recipients reported cumulative GPAs of 3.5 or higher, and nearly 80 percent are active members of an AGC student chapter, demonstrating both academic excellence and a strong commitment to the construction profession.

AGC scholarship recipients exemplify the talent, dedication and passion that will shape the future of construction. These students are already making an impact through internships, leadership roles and service to their communities. The AGC is equally grateful to its members and industry professionals who volunteer their time each year to interview scholarship finalists. Their dedication helps ensure we recognize not only academic achievement, but also the character, leadership and passion that will strengthen the future of the industry.
