POCOLA, Okla. – The Choctaw Casino & Resort announced a $140 million expansion and renovation project at its Pocola, Okla. location, which will add a new hotel tower, luxury amenities and upgrades across the property.

Tutor Perini Building Corp. will lead the project (which was designed by JCJ Architecture), and a groundbreaking will he held this fall.

The project will add a seven-story hotel tower with 130 additional guest rooms, a resort-style pool, a full-service spa, fitness center and a coffee and tea bar, as well as include a refresh of the casino floor and onsite restaurants and bars.

“This investment not only transforms our property by doubling our hotel capacity and introducing contemporary, elevated amenities, but also reflects our ongoing commitment to the people and businesses here,” said Christy Chaser, general manager of Choctaw Casino & Resort-Pocola. “By enhancing the guest experience, we’re positioned to attract more visitors from across the region and beyond, helping to drive tourism, support local economic growth and create new opportunities for our community to thrive.”

Located just west of the Oklahoma-Arkansas border, the casino opened as a bingo hall in 1994 and has since grown into a larger entertainment destination serving guests throughout Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.
