TAMPA, Fla. – An $800 million mixed-use development is coming to downtown Tampa.
Developers broke ground June 17 on The Manor Riverwalk District. The massive property will include more than 1,200 residential units and 18,000 square feet of retail space overlooking the Tampa Riverwalk along the Hillsborough River.
Developed by Miami-based Related Group, the new project is the first phase of a six-acre master planned development. It will start with a 24-story tower at 101 S. Parker St., designed by Arquitectonica, and will include a 3,000-square-foot fitness center, cabanas, pickleball court, outdoor theater, bar and more.
Shawmut Design and Construction is the general contractor.
This first phase is also set to include four more towers and should be completed in the next three to five years, according to Related.
The developer said the project should improve the walkability of the local area and stimulate future West Riverwalk expansion, as well as reshape a good portion of the Tampa skyline over the next decade.
