TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa police, fire and emergency management services are preparing to headquarter in a $70 million facility that’s currently under construction in downtown and midtown Tulsa.

The anticipated completion timeframe is early to mid-2028.

It’s a major renovation of the former State Farm building off the BA Expressway.

As of mid-2026, the project is still in the final design and infrastructure upgrade phase. Because the building was purchased as a staggered initiative and requires extensive modern safety code updates, the City of Tulsa has not yet fully locked in or announced a single primary general contractor for the massive full-scale renovation.

No specific general contractor has yet been made public.
