FORT WORTH, Texas – The biggest commercial office space vertical construction project underway in Fort Worth in nearly a half century is Westside Village, a $1.7 billion, 37-acre mixed-use mega-development near the city’s cultural district.
The multi-year buildout features nearly 1.8 million square feet of apartments, a boutique hotel and the largest delivery of Class AA office space the city has seen in 43 years.
Ground broke this year on the project, which includes 1,785 residential units, 800,000 square feet of office space and 238,000 square feet of retail.
Westside Village will also feature a 100,000-square-foot office building, 308 apartments and retail spaces.
Moss Construction is leading all construction management and vertical buildout efforts for the initial phase.
MSOA designed the overall 37-acre master plan and is the lead architect for the Phase I Class AA office building.
Corgan is designing the 7-story, 308-unit luxury residential building and serving as the executive architect of record for the office portion.
Kimley-Horn is managing the civil engineering aspects of the site.
Seattle-based GGN is directing the design of the district’s public spaces and pedestrian urban pathways.
The project is actively being developed by FW Westside RE Investors, a joint partnership between Fort Worth-based Keystone Group and Dallas-based Larkspur Capital.
The buildout timeline is scheduled to wrap in 2035.
