BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will reopen this month to feature a major expansion that has added 114,000 square feet of galleries, studios, dining options and event spaces.
The general contractor for the expansion is Flintco LLC with Sadie Architects as the designer.
This free-admission art museum has now increased its size by nearly 50 percent.
A new “Learning and Engagement Hub” will open the new wing with studios with maker spaces; visitors will be able to make their own digital art and ceramics.
The project cost is estimated at more than $100 million.
