NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More than 110,000 cubic yards of dirt have been moved and the number of cranes is increasing at the site of the future Nissan Stadium, home to the Tennessee Titans NFL team.

Work began in late February 2024 and the cranes began arriving April 26.

The drilling of deep foundation piers to support all the stadium support columns is ongoing, with the construction team anticipating completion of the 1.8 million-square-foot stadium by February 2027 or sooner.

A $2.35 billion project, the new stadium is being constructed on the East Bank, just east of the current Titans stadium.

Architects on the project are: Nashville-based Hastings (concept phase exterior design), Atlanta-based TVS (architect of record) and Kansas City, Kan.-based MANICA (lead design architect).

The construction team includes: Turner Construction (New York City), AECOM (Dallas), I.C.F. Builders and Consultants (Nashville) and Polk & Associates (Brentwood, Tenn.).

Owner-developer is the Tennessee Titans.

The future Titans stadium will feature 38 percent improved sightlines for all 62,000 seats/spectators, a circular, translucent roof, exterior porches offering panoramic views of the downtown Nashville skyline and 12,ooo square feet of year-round community space.

In addition to being utilized by the Titans, the new stadium will also serve as the site for Tennessee State University bowl games.
