How Jet.Build is Planting Deep Roots in the Region’s Construction Community
By ADAM STARK
Relocating Jet.Build to St. Louis was a strategic decision rooted in one belief: This city is home to a skilled, collaborative builder community that’s ready to modernize. Winning a 2025 Arch Grant only deepens our commitment to growing here.
Jet.Build was founded on a simple premise: Mid-market construction firms deserve technology built for them. Too many builders are forced into oversized platforms – tools packed with features they’ll never use, yet missing the basics they rely on daily. The result is wasted budget, slower workflows and constant workarounds.
We built Jet.Build to change that. Our platform provides teams with 20 to 300-plus employees a unified system for documents, workflows, communication, financials, reporting and field operations. The goal is straightforward: Help teams move with the speed and clarity of the industry’s largest contractors, without the high cost or complexity. Builders should focus on building – not wrestling with software.
A Meaningful Win for a Growing STL Startup
Being named a 2025 Arch Grants winner is more than a milestone; it’s a sign that St. Louis is leaning into construction innovation. Of the 375 companies that applied, 19 were selected to receive $75,000 in non-dilutive funding and access to an entrepreneurial support network that has become central to the city’s start-up ecosystem.
For Jet.Build, the grant represents two things: validation of a real and persistent problem in our industry, and an accelerator for expanding our roots in St. Louis. We already partner with builders across the country, from developers to general contractors to specialty trades. This award strengthens our ability to build deeper partnerships locally.
A City Ready for What’s Next
What struck me most when arriving in St. Louis was how candid local builders were about the technology gap they face. Leaders here want tools built around jobsite realities, not theoretical features. They want software that fits their margins, not those of their largest competitors. And they want partners who understand the pace and constraints of construction.
St. Louis is also uniquely collaborative. Local organizations, national GCs and trade partners foster conversations that move quickly and remain grounded in practicality. It’s exactly the environment where Jet.Build thrives.
Growing Jet.Build Locally
Over the next year, our focus in St. Louis centers on three priorities:
- Deepening partnerships with local builders committed to modernizing their operations without exceeding their budgets.
- Hiring local talent as we expand our support, products and partnerships teams.
- Contributing to the region, including through storytelling platforms like The Veterans Who Build Show, which now reaches hundreds of thousands of builders nationwide.
Arch Grants is more than a funding organization; it’s a catalyst. And St. Louis is more than where Jet.Build operates; it’s where we’re building our future.
