Don’t Misrepresent This Amazing Industry with AI-Generated Construction Images

Lately I’ve been seeing more and more AI-generated images of “construction” and “construction sites” posted on LinkedIn.

It’s disappointing to me to see these fake visuals being used to represent our amazing industry.

Construction isn’t a prompt. It’s real people, real skill and hard work. Men and women show up day in and day out – rain or shine – putting in the work, solving tough problems and building the world around us…something no software or computer will ever be able to do.

Let’s celebrate the people who build and make construction what it is. If you want to inspire, showcase our industry or highlight an issue, please use real photos. Please share the real story. Because the trades deserve to be seen, respected and appreciated for what they actually do and build with their very real hands.

Real work deserves real recognition.

Make sure to recognize someone who works in the field in real life, too. It makes a difference.
