Some are the skilled craft professionals whose expertise and commitment set the standard on every jobsite. Others are the companies investing in apprenticeships, internships, employee development, school partnerships and workforce initiatives that help shape the future of construction.
These individuals and organizations are making a difference, but they can only be recognized if someone takes the time to nominate them.
AGC of Missouri is currently accepting nominations for two prestigious workforce awards:
Show Me Excellence in Craftsmanship Award
This award honors an exceptional skilled craft professional who demonstrates outstanding workmanship, professionalism, leadership, safety and dedication to the construction industry. If you know someone who takes pride in their craft, mentors others and consistently goes above and beyond, now is the time to recognize their contributions.
Workforce Champion Award
The Workforce Champion Award recognizes an AGCMO member company that is committed to building the industry’s future through workforce development. Whether it’s apprenticeships, internships, mentoring, recruiting, career outreach or employee training, this award celebrates companies making a lasting investment in people.
Who Comes to Mind?
As you read this, think about the people and companies you’ve worked with.
- Who is the first person you’d want on every jobsite?
- Who is always willing to teach, mentor and lead by example?
- Which company is creating opportunities for the next generation of construction professionals?
If someone immediately came to mind, they may be an excellent candidate.
