ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The region’s largest lender of home health equipment is celebrating the grand opening of its new headquarters in Maryland Heights, Mo.
St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (HELP) moved into its new headquarters and service center May 30.
The 4,033-square-foot headquarters offers an improved layout and more strategic location for those needing walkers, wheelchairs, canes, hospital beds and more. It features an intuitive, easy-to-use application system to obtain a variety of home healthcare equipment.
Late last year, St. Louis HELP announced a partnership with the mobile Rural Parish Clinic of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to identify need and provide home health equipment to rural counties. This includes two of the poorest counties in the St. Louis Archdiocese – Washington and St. Francois counties – along with Jefferson, St. Genevieve, Franklin, Warren and Lincoln counties.
Since 2008, the nonprofit St. Louis HELP has been collecting, repairing, cleaning and giving away home medical equipment to anyone in need for free, regardless of income.
