DPR Construction Building New Patient Tower in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The $893 million Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center bed tower in Charlotte, N.C. is transforming the healthcare provider’s midtown campus.
The 448-bed tower is part of a $1.4 billion capital investment into Atrium Health’s main campus facilities.
DPR Construction is building the project. NBBJ is the designer.
The Adult Acute Care New Bed Tower is a transformative 12-story, 1.16 million-square-foot expansion designed to meet the evolving and diverse healthcare needs of the metropolitan Charlotte community. Strategically integrated with the existing Dickson Tower and David L. Conlan Center at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation, the new facility will significantly expand Atrium Health’s care capacity.
It is projected to open in Fall 2027.
