CNR's 38th Annual Strawberry Festival Join us for a fun-filled afternoon that will bring back memories of your CNR days... Admission is free; there is a charge for food and rides. To see pictures and read the highlights from last year CLICK HERE
The Strawberry Festival, introduced to CNR in 1972, is the single largest event organized entirely by The College's undergraduates. The concept of Strawberry Festival originated in the mid-west during the 1890's as an American festival celebrating the ripening of strawberries, the blooming of lilacs, and the coming of summer.
 
The popular photo booth where visitors can take pictures in a giant chair will return this year, as well as, the exciting giant slide. There will be face painting, a carousel, gladiator joust, Dalmatian Funhouse, spin art, and much more.
Fourth Generation Entertainment Company will provide music ranging from Big Band and pop to salsa and R&B. Vendors displaying jewelry and other craft items will be on hand to satisfy shoppers and browsers alike. Other entertainment will include performances by the college’s Black Ice Step Team, Gospel Choir, and Blue Angels Cheerleaders, as well as a belly dancing demonstration.
Don't forget to visit the Alumnae/i information table as well as the Alumnae/i Coffee Bar.
Every alumnae/i that stops by the Alumnae/i Information Booth has a chance to enter a raffle to win prizes.
