| NewsSr. Francis Marie Thrailkill, O.S.U., SAS'61 The Wheeling Jesuit University Board of Directors and Board of Trustees has announced the appointment of a new interim president for the university, Sister Francis Marie Thrailkill, O.S.U., SAS'61, Ed.D. She will be the first female leader of the university and she arrives on campus February 8, 2010. Carol Murphy SAS'69 Carol Murphy SAS'69 was named to the legion of Honor in 2006 by then French President Jacques Chirac.
